FYI: Timeframe for “Real” Results

This is just a friendly FYI for those who are like me, and want to see weight loss results ASAP. It is possible to drop two dress sizes in a month by simply changing your lifestyle; I’ve done it before. But one month is no time when you’ve spent countless months or even years overeating and living a sedentary lifestyle. I highly recommend taking before and after pictures so that you don’t get discouraged along your weight loss journey. Pictures will help you see the progress you’ve made thus far, and will even motivate you to keep going.

I wouldn’t start looking for transformation results with only 1-3 weeks of dieting and exercising. It’s just not enough time to really gauge if what you are doing is working or not. Give it at least 90 days for a total body transformation. Always remember that slow results are better than no results, or the scale going up.

Most importantly; you will NEVER be able to go back to your old ways. You will never be able to eat like you have in the past, without exercising. This is an ongoing journey that will never end. Once you reach your goal you will have to maintain it. Keep that in mind the next time you see someone in shape exercising or eating healthy. They are maintaining the shape of their body, as well as even improving their mental health since exercising relieves the mind of stress. I  hope this helps everyone stay motivated, and on the mission towards being fit and healthy for life.
