Labor day turned into a week of no labor for me. I was in New Orleans, and couldn’t resist the Jambalaya, red beans and rice, gumbo, and crawfish etouffee.
Now I’m back in Atlanta, counting my calories, and eating high fiber foods. I increased my calories to 1,450 a day, and once again decided to start over on the P90X workouts. I swear, even though I haven’t finished the 90 days, I’ve done 120 days of Phase 1 with all this starting and stopping. I just can’t accept the fact that I took a week off from the workouts. I want to do 90 days straight, so I’m starting over. Thank God the next holiday is Thanksgiving. That will give me some time to get this workout completed.
Well, I was going to have a post for today saying, “look at me now!” but I gained back all that I loss in one week! So its back to the drawing board, and back to reality, especially now that I’m back motivated. I will be adding in a few extras though to really drop some pounds FAST. On Plyo X day I will be hiking Stone Mountain after work, and on Kenpo X days I will be walking/jogging 5 miles at the park.
On Saturdays I will be taking Yoga with Sara Egert at FitnessTri instead of doing the DVD. Her classes work better for me, and they are an hour-long versus 1 1/2 hours.
If you have any P90X tips or advice please post them in the comments section. I’d love to hear how you were able to finish the DVD set in 90 days. I’d love to know how you got through the workouts non-stop (through holidays).
