Clean Eating

“Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything.” – Genesis 9:3

grapes, asparagus, raw chicken, eggs, tomatoes, carrots, apples, oranges, cheese, low fat milk, clean foods

Your fitness results are the offspring of exercise and nutrition. Marry these two and you will be on your way to a total body transformation in no time. Nutrition has been quoted by nutritionist and certified trainers as 80% of where your fitness results will come from. Although you will need a good workout plan that can help you build muscle so that you keep the weight off, you will experience amazing results simply by eating better. The idea of eating clean is eating foods that are not heavily processed, and that are free of preservatives and chemicals. Most fitness programs will give you a nutritional plan that goes along with the workouts, however I have found that doing research on clean eating at my local library and on-line has helped me to scrutinize the most popular nutritional guides out there!  As I research things that I find interesting about food, I will post them under the clean eating tips category. However, please check out the books that I have read on Good Reads. They have helped me to understand the science of how the body works when properly nourished. I am not an expert or certified nutritionist, but I am an eager learner and walking example of how nutrition can change your life!
