Healthy Holiday’s!

So; you’ve worked hard all year to lose weight, or hardly worked at all and plan to start after the holidays; right? Either way, there is never a time where it is ok to overeat. If we remember what the holidays represent, we can represent the holiday better. For example, Thanksgiving is all about being thankful for the things you have like: family, friends, life, and life’s necessities. Therefore, instead of planning to overeat, help feed the homeless, or do something eventful with the ones you love. Me; I will be going hiking after I help feed the homeless, and spend time with friends and family. My healthy eating habits won’t change just because its Thanksgiving.

The same goes for Christmas. Christmas is all about giving, sharing, and spreading love to people. I already plan to buy gifts and pass them out to children in hospitals, and adults at my local Hospice. No need to overeat just because it’s Christmas. Let’s celebrate the holidays without the gluttony, because that’s not what it’s about. Remember what the holiday really represents to best represent the holiday.
