Stick with What Works!

I have spent a whole year writing articles about multiple ways to get healthy physically, when in actuality, there is one true way (for me) to lose weight, and that is track calories and exercise. Eating clean is awesome, and I will forever be an advocate for eating clean, but its also expensive. The bottom line is, I am an overeater, and the only way to avoid overeating is to track what I’ve already eaten, and plan my meals the day before in MyFitnessPal.

I have always been able to lose weight tracking calories and exercising, and I’m not sure why I stopped. I guess I got annoyed with tracking my calories, but having a smartphone makes that more convenient. As I’ve stated before, I am not a fan of eliminating my favorite foods, but I will limit my portion sizes and exercise. For example, if I have a piece of cake that is 500 calories, I would be willing to run 5 miles for it. It’s just the way I am. I love cake!

I am almost more than positive that you have successfully loss weight before. What did you do? My cousin swears by doing a low-carb diet, and some of my co-workers swear by Weight Watchers which is similar, but slightly confusing for me. Everyone is different. You have to find something that works for you and your personality, and stick with it.
